Calculation of results

Once entered the data, as discussed above, you can get two main types of processing. The application in a web environment is able to provide to user complex processing procedures carried out with Formulas used from an Excel model, ASP and Microsoft ® Access ®.

Through the Scrolling menu of management of the farms, selecting the twelfth items, that is "Results" item, you will enter the results of the calculation model, which processes the data entered in the previous sections.

The results are listed according to the type of farm's crop. By selecting one with the button V_Tick_16 you will access the results for that culture.

TIPS: If you wish to view the results by the type of field group, see Calculation of results per field group.

The model elaborates a review of mechanical costs, resources used, those extra business and income related to the selected crop, if those are available

The system also makes available a total budget / operating income, where are compared income and outgoing arising from the use of mechanization in the farm This system is not intended as a true economic balance but as a comparison of cost items and revenue for immediate detection within the farm and limited to considered crop. As we seen, the system doesn't considered other important cost items of the farm, that are in some cases not immediately related to a crop analysis

The cost items contained under the section for mechanical operation costs derive from a calculation that the procedure performs based on the costs of use times of the machines (including the cost of fuel) and the time required to perform each operation.

In the section cost for resource used are added the relative costs for the productive means utilized It may be noted that the same factor may be use several times during the cultivation of a crop. Finally, what appears below the section of extra farm costs and the farming revenues, derived from the sum of user input data in sections of the same name.

This analysis was also built in order to better evaluate the possible purchase of a new machinery, the replacement of an obsolete one or the purchase of one with a working capacity higher, than the use of a farm contractor.

However, as has been noted previously, the annual increase of the use of a farm machinery (tractor or equipment) will reduce the costs related to the field operation in which it is used. This may be very interesting to estimate and optimize the use of mechanical resources of the farm.
