Insert field operations

Made the characterization of the structural elements of the farm you switch to set the production process with the imput of various operations to be carried out in the crop cycle and the amount of the various inputs required.

Through the Scrolling menu of the farm managementselecting the eighth entry, or "Field operations", you will enter the field operations management of the farm.

This section of the model allows to record the various activities carried out by the farm, in which farm machinery are used.

The image is an example of inserting/editing of a field operation from scratch.

This section requires the following values:

•	the crop on which the operation was carried out;

•	the operation carried out;

•	the tractor and the equipment used;

•	speed and working width;

•	the number of passes made by the equipment to complete the field operation and its operation interval;

•	The number of people engaged in this activity and its labour coefficient;

•	reminders or notes for any particular characteristics of the operation.

There is also the possibility of duplicating the field operation for another crop of the farm, so as to simplify the possible inclusion of similar values.

Once chosen and quantified values required by this form, the information is stored by simply pressing the button . At the same time are calculated and modified, over the previous situation, all the technical/economic parameters related to the equipment and the tractor used. The use of the machinery per year will increase and decrease their fixed costs.

TIPS: Notice that crop, operation kind, and machinery used are deliberately constrained values, that is strictly dependent on the data entered in the previous sections. So you can't combine a tractor with an equipment that has not been registered in the previous section, also the operation can't be different from those that enable the farm equipment registered previously.

The working width is set by default to that indicated in the insertion of the equipment, as can be seen in Insert equipment.

You can also add the field group and any resources used in the field operation through the items "Crops" and "Resources".

To add the fields in which the field operation is made you can select it from the list and proceed to combine field operation with field group through "add groups" button.

If you are using a resource combined operation (such as a fertilizer, seeds, etc..) you can proceed with the placement of the main operation as described so far and access to the details selecting it from the list and proceed to combine field operation with resource through "resources" button.

At this point a window will appear where the main productive means are summarized by category and description.

Selecting the desired item you can simply specifying the quantity and its unit of measure and record the data using the button . In this way, you will generate a master record (the operation) and a secondary one (resource). The detail will be add of information concerning the resource used.

TIPS: As seen previously, you can modify or delete the data recorded about the operations and the resources inserted any time. This characteristic is particularly interesting if you want to make comparisons between different crop techniques.
